Proximity to Studentersamfundet

This nearness is expected to strengthen the bond between NTNU's academic activities and student life, promoting a vibrant campus culture and providing students with easy access to social and extracurricular opportunities.

Collaboration with St. Olavs Hospital
The campus development plan includes the establishment of the Center for Mental Health, which will bring together NTNU's academic disciplines in mental health with St. Olav Hospital's professional environment and treatment options. This co-location is anticipated to enhance professional interaction across sectors, aiming to improve both education and patient care through collaborative efforts.
